Maison Leroy Borgougne Rouge

Attractive ruby-red with dark pigmentation, but not particularly deep. Intense, ripe & developed aromas show notes of ripe licorice, black-cherry, leather, prune & black-plum tinged with hints of spice. The palate has rich, concentrated fruit & velvety-smooth tannins. The fruit has ripe black-plum, black-cherry & licorice depth. Lively acidity leaves the finish fresh. The alcohol is balanced & the long finish has a lifted spicy nature.
