Named for Cristom’s founder, Paul Gerrie Vineyard is a consistent, gentle-sloping bench of deep volcanic soil. In development since 2014 to be the cornerstone of the future of Cristom, it combines some of the greatest aspects of the estate – soils, wind, elevation, and slope – into a single vineyard and represents the culmination of farming knowledge gained over three decades.
Tasting Notes: Crunchy black cherry, tobacco, bramble, rose hips, and clove characteristics that provide a sweet entry on the palate and culminate in a long, powerful finish.
